About Krystyna

Krystyna Medina is a Florida-based educator, food advocate, and colored pencil artist who blends curiosity, creativity, and care in everything she does. With a heart for teaching and a deep respect for traditional wisdom, she works with students and families to spark learning across subjects—especially through the lens of food.

She creates vibrant food art and illustrations that celebrate nourishment, nature, and everyday magic, using colored pencils to capture both whimsy and detail.

Alongside her visual work, she teaches culinary and academic skills, supports moms and children through hands-on education, and speaks passionately about food systems and food law.

Whether she’s tutoring students, dreaming up a kid-friendly cooking class, or guiding a family through real-food habits, her work is rooted in connection, empowerment, and play.

Through it all, she lives with intention—honoring where food comes from, how we learn, and the joy that happens when art, nature, and nourishment intersect.

Vision & Future Projects

(What I'm Building Toward)

I dream of opening a store that brings together everything I love: food, art, education, and community connection.

Imagine a space where you can take a class, grab something nourishing, browse food art, and pick up a copy of a local food-focused paper—all in one place.

I'm also passionate about providing postpartum meal care, giving new mothers nutrient-dense, comforting food during their healing journey.

Every tutoring session, class, and drawing is a step toward creating this vibrant, supportive future.
